Pediatric Medicine – Bringing home a new puppy or kitten is so exciting. It’s important to get them introduced to your veterinary care team as well. We start our care with a nose to tail inspection to establish that your pet is healthy. We can discuss a vaccine schedule, plan for parasite testing, treatment and prevention. We will review your pets history and make sure he’s on a deworming schedule as well. We will help educate you on the care of your pet from routine exams, to heartworm prevention to nutrition. Just ask us. We are here to help you and your new pet stay with your family for a long time!
Geriatric Medicine – Pets age faster than their human caregivers. Did you know pets are considered seniors at age seven (7)? Senior pet care can help provide your aging pet a healthier and higher quality of life. Our geriatric care includes health challenges such as;

- Dental issues
These issues can sound intimidating, but with regular wellness checks, we can stay on top of any issues your pet may be developing. Ask us about our Geriatric Pet care services. We will customize a plan based on the needs of your pet.

Dermatology and Skin Care – Florida is a great place to live, but our sub-tropical climate can make many dogs and cats prone to skin allergies. Many pets, due to the heat cool themselves in water—whether it’s your pool, the beach or the lake! Bacteria from any water source can cause skin issues. Dr. Emily has a special interest in skin cases and has had years of experience dealing with animal dermatology. If your pet is scratching frequently without fleas, or you detect an unpleasant odor on his skin or ears, call today, we can help!
Microchipping – Microchip implantation takes only a few minutes and can be invaluable if your pet gets lost. Collars can get broken, or simply not be on when your pet gets lost. A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice placed just under the skin between your pets shoulder blades. Your pets chip will carry vital information such as your name, address and contact information. You’ll be given a form to complete, once completed and registered; your pet will be on a national pet recovery database. Veterinary hospitals, animal shelters and animal control offices around the country have access to this database.
